Sinners & Winners

These are a few pictures from last weekend when I went out to watch Tintin, and also rejuvenate myself after the horror of a whole week tucked in bed. The happiness lasted no longer than the weekend itself; my exams commence in less than three days! Which implies the possibility of another disappearing act- sad story.
I was on the lookout for a perfect pair of leather shorts this summer but eventually settled for these pants from ASOS. They're comfortable and I love them as much as the warm knit I bought months back.
My troubled mind will not allow me to go on, those giant books are staring at me.
Goodbye till then, x.

Northern Lights

Owing to a thread of unforseen tragedies (well not really tragedies), I haven't been able to work on a post. With numerous exams knocking at my door, assignments that don't cease to pile,  fever that seems to love taking shelter in me, and of course my laptop which is dying a slow death, I haven't really got a chance to be regular on the Blogosphere. Life's grim on this side of the globe. I don't want to part with my laptop- my friend for five long years now. Gives me all the more reason to mourn its death, though timely.

In the corner amidst various ill-fitting, bright coloured dresses in a thrift shop, the Orange screamed out to me. Yes, about a month ago I scored this lovely structured dress with the perfect cut. At first glance, all I could pictures was runway models walking the ramp in those heavenly straight cut dresses with their never ending legs. Obviously it wouldn't look the same on me! But I HAD to grab it. Who thinks twice while thrift-shopping anyway? So I wore it, enjoying the last few days of warm weather here in Delhi, before the cold gets us rubbing our hands underneath gloves and  soaking up the sun rays through the powdery mist in the mornings.

Have a great week all.
Will be back soon this time! :)
